Devotions

God expects us to stay nourished and well fed from His Word so that we may walk upright, holy lives that exemplify Him in every way:

2 Timothy 3:16 (New Century Version)

16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for showing people what is wrong in their lives, for correcting faults, and for teaching how to live right.

Daily Devotions:

Ever questioned:

  • Where do I begin?
  • How will I apply what I read to my life, in today's environment?
Our recommendation is to start with the following website for guidance on how to read through the Bible in one year and to journal your experience: www.lifejournal.cc
If you would prefer an online/electronic journal, then try this --journal --
Spiritual help:
Our Chairman of the Deacons shares "Nuggets from God's Word" almost daily: http://edalgreen.wordpress.com/
Perhaps you have heard enough about this God of which we have referred to in the above and you are convinced that you would like to have a personal relationship with Him. You have a choice of help on this:
  1. Read through the tips offered on our website ...."Meet our Savior"
  2. Contact our Pastor via email
  3. Contact our Chairman of the Deacons via email
  4. Visit a local Bible teaching church and seek help from the pastor

So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard? So also Abraham “believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”

Understand, then, that those who have faith are children of Abraham. Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: “All nations will be blessed through you.” So those who rely on faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.
