Devotions

God expects us to stay nourished and well fed from His Word so that we may walk upright, holy lives that exemplify Him in every way:

2 Timothy 3:16 (New Century Version)

16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for showing people what is wrong in their lives, for correcting faults, and for teaching how to live right.

Daily Devotions:

Ever questioned:

  • Where do I begin?
  • How will I apply what I read to my life, in today's environment?
Our recommendation is to start with the following website for guidance on how to read through the Bible in one year and to journal your experience: www.lifejournal.cc
If you would prefer an online/electronic journal, then try this --journal --

Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their father? If you are not disciplined—and everyone undergoes discipline—then you are not legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all. Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of spirits and live! They disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in his holiness. No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.
